My name is Joao Pedro Cardoso Canhenha, but I go by Pedro Canhenha. I’ve been sketching, as most of us do, since I was a child. I continued to draw and paint through my adolescence, and dreamt of pursuing a career in Fine Arts, but got discouraged from doing so. In the end, with life’s twists and turns, I eventually started working in Education & Technology, something that I love to this day. But I’ve never stopped creating my artwork throughout the years, always carrying my notebooks around. I applied it to Record and Book Covers and eventually started designing Patterns. What started as challenge to overcome adversity, it has steadily been a creative outlet for me. For the past 7 years, I’ve been creating a pattern on a daily basis. I have amassed over 2,500 at this point, and it keeps growing. This site aims to showcase some samples of that work. Hope you all enjoy.
